Salvinia natans (Floating Fern) – Floating Pond Plant - Pack of 5

Salvinia natans, commonly known as Floating Fern, is a beautiful free-floating aquatic plant that provides natural shade, shelter and protection for pond wildlife. Its soft, velvety green leaves float effortlessly across the water's surface, helping to reduce sunlight penetration and naturally suppress algae growth.

This fast-growing floating plant is ideal for wildlife ponds, ornamental ponds and natural water gardens. The dense root structures hanging beneath the surface provide excellent cover for fish fry, tadpoles, newts and other aquatic creatures while also helping to absorb excess nutrients from the water.
